Wow! I see what you mean! I hadn't noticed that. I do have to concentrate to get him to face backwards, though.

Judy, I believe he's facing forward. The distance between his legs are what I went by. If he was facing backwards, his body would be too wide and put his front and back legs very far apart. However, I'm not an art or deer expert!
